McLaren and four other Formula 1 teams are to appear in front of the crowd in the Russian capital as part of the Moscow City Racing show on June 17.
"The scale of the show this year is going to be fantastic. As many as five F1 teams will turn the center of Moscow into a racetrack for one day. In the remaining three months, the teams and the organizers promise to do everything to make the event the brightest summer experience for Muscovites and the city’s guests," the show’s press-release sated.

The Moscow City Racing organizers have already confirmed participation of one of the F1 season leaders – McLaren – in the event.

Besides Formula 1 vehicles, cars from World Rally Championship, 24 Hours of Le Mans and other racing series will be seen by the Kremlin walls.

The first ever racing electro motive car with open wheels – Formulec EF01 – is also expected to appear in the show.

Moscow City Racing is an annual event, held in the capital since 2008. The likes of McLaren, Red Bull, Renault as well as rally giants Kamaz-Master have entertained the racing fans over the years.

With three years remaining before the debut Russian Grand Prix in Sochi, the event remains the only chance to see Formula 1 vehicles in action in Russia.
