With only days to go before the Royal Wedding, here is an in-depth look at what we know about the big day - and what has not yet been revealed.
Planning of the Royal Wedding has taken months of hard work
On Friday, an estimated two billion people across the world will watch Prince William and Kate Middleton exchange their vows at Westminster Abbey.
The wedding has taken months of planning and preparation and the big day is drawing near.
What we know so far:
SECURITY: The Royal Wedding will be encircled by a huge security ring - enforced by police and CCTV on the ground and surveillance in the sky.
TIMETABLE OF EVENTS: The wedding day is an exercise in minute-by-minute organisation - from when the general congregation arrive at the Great North Door of Westminster Abbey at 8.45am until the fly-past by the Royal Air Force and Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at 1.30pm.

SEATING PLAN:The seating plan inside Westminster Abbey has been released.
The Queen and other members of the Royal Family will sit in the North Lantern across the aisle from the Middleton family, who will be in the South Lantern.
NIGHT BEFORE: Miss Middleton will spend the night before her wedding at the luxury Belgravia hotel The Goring along with her mother Carole and sister Pippa, who is also her maid of honour.

GUEST LIST: Afghan war veterans, political and religious leaders, charity bosses and prominent figures from the world of sport and entertainment are among some of 1,900 guests invited to the Royal Wedding.
STREET PARTIES: Fifty-three parties are planned in Bristol, 35 in Brighton, 30 in Cardiff, 12 in Edinburgh and around 500 in London.

ENGAGEMENT RING: Prince William has given his bride-to-be the sapphire and diamond jewel ring famously worn by his late mother Diana, Princess of Wales. It is rumoured that Kate is having the ring made smaller so it fits better.
COAT OF ARMS: So far the Coat of Arms for Miss Middleton has been revealed. It is a strong, simple and very English design with three acorns attached - representing Miss Middleton and her siblings, Pippa and James.

VOWS: These are not confirmed, but Miss Middleton is expected to ditch the promise to "obey" from her wedding vows and pledge to "love, comfort, honour and keep" instead.
MUSIC: The couple have commissioned new pieces of music for their marriage ceremony. The Abbey's choir and the Chapel Royal Choir will perform singing duties, and the London Chamber Orchestra and Fanfare Team from the Central Band of the RAF will also take part.

WEDDING CAKE: Prince William and Miss Middleton have chosen Leicestershire baker Fiona Cairns to make their wedding cake and have asked that the four national flowers of the British Isles feature in the icing design.
FOOD AND DRINK: The menu is being kept under wraps. However, the Queen's head chef has promised "the best of British produce" will be showcased at the wedding reception. Food will be washed down with Champagne and wine from the palace cellar.

WEDDING PARTY: Prince Harry is to be best man, Miss Middleton younger sister Pippa Middleton is maid of honour and a clutch of friends and younger relatives are to be bridesmaids and page boys.
WEATHER: It looks like London will be largely cloudy but there will be some sunny spells with temperatures just above the norm, up to 18-19C (64-66F).

What is yet to be revealed:
WEDDING DRESS: We will not see the dress until the day itself, but a top designer at Alexander McQueen, Sarah Burton, is tipped to be chosen by Miss Middleton to make her wedding dress. Miss Middleton is expected to opt for a more traditional cover-up style.
HONEYMOON: The honeymoon still remains a secret. However, rumours include the Isles of Scilly, Kenya and the Seychelles.
Kate Middleton's Coat of Arms is a simple and English design
FLOWERS: Miss Middleton will want her flowers to say something personal about herself and her relationship with Prince William... but what? Details are to be announced on Tuesday.
TITLES: When she marries Prince William, Miss Middleton will take on a royal title as a gift from the Queen. Official titles the couple will take are still unknown.
