Baby-frog

It happened more a case of baby-frog in the world. In fact, people call the baby-frog because of the strange appearance of the newborn. The factis that this is a rare congenital malformation.

The baby was born in La Romana, Dominican Republic, and it seems as soon as the mother, awife of 20 years originated in Haiti saw the baby, fled the hospital and not seen again. Half an hourafter the birth of "baby-frog"died. That did not stop hundreds of people besieged the hospital to witness the freak.
The baby was born with the brain exposed, andface and mouth swollen. His eyes were bulginglike an amphibian. Hence the horrible nickname.
Here's the video. (warning: it's kind of grotesque. If you are sensitive, DO NOT SEE)

It is not the first time a child is born with this typeof malformation. Since we reported here in the past (2006) the case of the baby-frog from Indiawho was considered a deity by local people, whoparaded the corpse of the baby in a basin.

Anthony Weiner Photos | Anthony Weiner Infor | Anthony Weiner Bio | Anthony Weiner | Anthony Weiner Images

Democratic Representative Anthony Weiner has hired an attorney to investigate the hacking of his Twitter account after a lewd photo was sent to one of his followers, his office said on Tuesday.
"Look, this is a prank, not a terribly creative one and it's a distraction," Weiner said on NY1 TV.
His office confirmed to Reuters that the New York congressman, who has a high profile as an advocate of liberal causes, has hired an attorney to advise him on whether or not he could press criminal charges as a result of the alleged hack of his Twitter account.
Weiner said his account was hacked when a lewd photo of a man in bulging boxer briefs was tweeted to a 21-year-old female college student in Washington state over the weekend.
The posting was quickly deleted and Weiner made light of the incident on his Twitter page.
"More Weiner Jokes for all my guests!" he tweeted with the hashtag "Hacked!"

The student, Gennette Cordova, issued a statement to the New York Daily News that denied she personally knew Weiner but said, "I am a fan."

Latest News About Cucumber | News About Cucumber With Details

EU agricultural ministers Monday struggled to come to terms with a deadly bacteria outbreak suspected of stemming from contaminated cucumbers that has already killed 12 in Germany.
"One problem with Spanish cucumbers, and all of Europe is trembling," Belgium's minister Sabine Laruelle said on the sidelines of an informal meeting in Debrecen, eastern Hungary.
At least 12 people have died in Germany following an outbreak of enterohaemorrhagic E. coli (EHEC) found on imported cucumbers.
And several hundred more are being treated in hospitals for the highly virulent strain of bacteria, which can result in full-blown haemolytic uraemic syndrome (HUS), a disease that causes bloody diarrhoea and serious liver damage and which can result in death.
Around Europe, other cases -- real or suspected -- have been reported in Denmark, Sweden, Britain, the Netherlands, Austria, France and Switzerland, all of them apparently stemming from Germany.
Dutch agriculture minister Henk Bleker said Monday he could "understand the German authorities' attitude," after they recommended that people avoid raw vegetables, especially those coming from northern Germany, where most of the deaths have been reported.
At the same time, he noted this had led to a drastic drop in demand, with Dutch vegetable exports towards Germany -- which usually amount to some 10 million euros ($14.2 million) per week -- had "virtually stopped" since Sunday.

Suspicions have so far rested on Spain but Bleker admitted it was still unclear what the source of the outbreak was.

War Against Pakistani Military: Mumbai-Style Attack On Pakistan Navy Base

This is not the first Mumbai-style attack in Pakistan. Pakistani military is not an easy target for bandits based on the Afghan border. The sophisticated attacks inside Pakistan after 2005 reveal formal training and superior equipment for fighting and communication. Pakistani military is under attack by several powers in the region since 2002.

AHMED QURAISHI | Monday | 23 May 2011 | Attack On Pakistan Navy
WWW.PAKNATIONALISTS.COM
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan—What happened at a Pakistan Navy aviation base in the past few hours is something that could normally result from an attack by one country on another. An enemy would have to come from across international borders to destroy P-3C Orion surveillance aircrafts parked at a high-security navy aviation base. And not any enemy would do. This enemy would have to possess quality military and intelligence skills to execute such a hit. Up to 15 terrorists can sneak into a maximum-security navy base but cannot simultaneously hold themselves up against commandos from the police, navy marines and the army while still finding time to attack and destroy two major assets in the arsenal of Pakistan Navy.
What is unfathomable is how a ragtag army of bandits, supposedly based in barren mountains on the Afghan border, could have pulled off such a feat against one of the top seven militaries of the world.
This is an impressive feat. The terrorists are still holed up inside the base at the time of writing this report [8:40 AM Monday], nearly ten hours into the attack. They have managed to target several Pakistan Navy assets, create a major hole in Pakistani war capability, shake the national morale, and give a boost to protracted propaganda in mainly US media about the security of Pakistan’s nuclear weapons and sites. Not to mention causing a loss of tens of millions of US dollars to Pakistani treasury, and much more in terms of reputation and self-confidence.
This incident is particularly damaging to the morale of the Pakistani nation, coming on the heels of a major security breach on 2 May, when an internal collusion or security compromise at some level of government was probably responsible for allowing the United States military to conduct a major operation on the outskirts of the federal capital for nearly two hours with getting caught.
The only way a group of 15 terrorists could have pulled off PNS Mehran is for them to be top-notch commandos or trained by such commandos. Some analysts, especially in the United States, claim that terrorists on the Afghan border fighting Pakistan are well trained thanks to the training imparted by Pakistani military or intelligence to them before they rebelled post-9/11. But this does not make sense. Pakistani military trained the mujahideen in the 1980s. Most of them are old now whereas most of the terrorists gathered at the border with Afghanistan are too young to have seen fighting in Afghanistan.
Everything about the daring attack on PNS Mehran stinks: the timing, the execution, and the target.
A key observation after this attack is that Pakistani military is under attack by friends and foes alike. The overlap is amazing. From the start of the US occupation of Afghanistan, American media and CIA’s PSYOPs turned focus on Pakistani military and intelligence, discrediting both at every opportunity. In the same vein, it seems that al-Qaeda forgot about the Arab world and Israel and focused only on Pakistan for bombings and mayhem. Even the TTP, the self-designated Pakistani Taliban, ignored US occupation in nearby Afghanistan until recently and focused solely on attacking and killing Pakistanis.
The attacks from both sides against Pakistani military are determined and multifaceted.
US diplomats, military officers and CIA agents have spent years convincing us that ‘extremists’ inside Pakistan have ‘turned against the country’ and are responsible for sophisticated attacks. But the evidence suggests that almost all major terror attacks in Pakistan since 2004 are the work of terrorists belonging to a single place: the Afghan border. Call them TTP, bandits, or guns-for-hire. Whatever you call them, they have the best intelligence, the best training, and very good equipment to fight and communicate.
In November 2007, after weeks of sifting through the record from Pakistan’s ‘war on terror’ since 2002, a small group of Pakistani analysts reached the conclusion that, for Pakistan, the war by the United States in Afghanistan was a sideshow. The real war, we felt, was a simmering one against the Pakistani military that sought to reduce its large footprint in the region.
Evidence has accumulated since 2006 that CIA has been encouraging several allied spy outfits, including that of India, to meddle inside Pakistan.
The group of Pakistani analysts concluded that the United States, while cooperating with the Pakistani military very closely, was pursuing a parallel policy of pushing Pakistani military to transform itself over the short and long terms. The short term goal was to fully assist the US military mission in Afghanistan. The long term goal was to drop Pakistani interests in Kashmir, Afghanistan, China and Central Asia and firmly get in line behind US objectives in all four areas.
If we put the daring attack on the Pakistani navy aviation base in Karachi aside, one can see a long list of daring Mumbai-style attacks that have targeted the Pakistani military. Some of them include:
1.      The attack on GHQ, the headquarters of Pakistan Army, Rawalpindi, 2009.
2.      The attack on a mosque on a Friday in a Parade Lane military-dominated residential area, Rawalpindi, 2009.
Both attacks involved commando-style operations at maximum-security military sites, engaging highly trained regular forces and taking hostages where possible. A third attack, on the visiting cricket team of Sri Lanka in March 2009, was also eerily similar to Mumbai.
A common denominator in all three attacks was that it was Mumbai, as in being similar to the attack on Taj Mahal hotel in Mumbai in November 2008, where 10 or 11 attackers carried out a sophisticated operation, taking hostages and successfully engaging the highly-trained commandoes of Indian military for three days. India accused Pakistan of training the attackers. An American newspaper later revealed that at least one of the planners of the attack was an active informant for CIA, raising the specter that the American spy agency knew of the attack beforehand to the extent of taking part in planning it, but failed to warn the Indians for unknown reasons.
From assessing the available info so far, one thing is obvious: Pakistani military is under attack from multiple directions and players. I’ve been saying this for 3 years now: Pakistan’s military is the target. Different attackers. The same target.
[This analysis must be read in conjunction with two relevant reports discussing current CIA PSYOPS in Pakistan, and how Pakistan can use Russia and China to counter US].

New Hard Drive with 4000 GB (4 Terabytes) storage capacity

Hitachi develops new hard drive head technology that will increase storage capacity to 4TB by 2011

Hitachi recently announced that it has achieved a breakthrough in hard drive read-head design.

This breakthrough has produced read-heads in the 30-50 nanometer range, approximately 2,000 times smaller than the width of an average human hair. This new technology is called current perpendicular-to-the-plane giant magnetoresistive heads.

Giant magnetoresistance principles won scientists Albert Fert and Peter Grunberg the 2007 Nobel Prize for Physics.

These new heads will allow Hitachi to expand storage capacity in standard 3.5-inch desktop hard drives to 4TB and extend 2.5-inch laptop hard drives to 1TB of capacity. Hitachi says that it plans to integrate these new heads into hard drives starting in 2009 and that the technology will reach maturity in 2011.

The first products to reach market in 2009 will use recording heads of 50nm and products with recording heads of 30nm will hit market in 2011. Hitachi representatives believe the new heads will allow for storage densities of up to 500GB per square inch. The current highest capacity drives from Hitachi can only pack in 200GB per square inch.

Another benefit of the significantly smaller heads is that the hard drives will product less noise. Test products using 50nm heads produced 40dB of sound while the 30nm heads produced 30dB. Large capacity hard drives that produce less noise will be a welcome addition to digital video recorders.

Teenage girls turn to online social networking sites for advice

Teenage girls are increasingly turning to social networking websites for guidance on personal matters, rather than seeking advice from their mothers.

Faced with problems at school, with friends or in relationships, just 25 per cent said they would seek a one-to-one with mum.

Around eight per cent said they would prefer to trawl the internet.

In contrast, 55 per cent of today's mothers said they used to confide in their own mums when teenagers, according to the poll of 1,000 girls aged 13 to 19 and 1,000 mothers with teenage daughters, commissioned by razor manufacturer Gillette.

A fifth of today's mothers admitted they are embarrassed to discuss personal issues with their daughters.

And 22 per cent said they simply did not know how to offer advice to their teens.

The findings show a growing generation gap, with underage sex, abortions, sexually-transmitted diseases and drug use becoming commonplace.

Dr Sandra Scott, a relationship adviser, said: 'The survey revealed that most mums turned to their own mums for advice when they were teenagers.

'It suggests the relationship may have grown even closer as they have got older, with 61 per cent saying they would still turn to their mum for advice.

'However, the survey also suggests that this close bond has declined in mother-daughter relationships today.

'An important part of the mother/daughter bond is the sharing and provision of emotional support and advice.

'Mothers and daughters need to be helped to talk to each other more and understand the best ways to communicate to strengthen their relationships.'

A fifth of mothers polled admitted theit were embarrassed when it came to discussing personal issues with their daughters.

Dr Scott added it was important for mothers to try open, honest dialogue with their daughters on all topics, not just those they felt comfortable with.

'A lack of clear communication between mums and their teenage daughters can act like a barrier driving them apart,' she said.

'In this situation it is common for young girls to seek emotional advice from alternative sources, like their friends or the internet.

'Don't let embarrassment be a barrier to discussion, rather you can use it as a way of starting conversation.

'Mums opening up and confiding about their own embarrassment and difficulty with issues can help teenagers open up themselves.'

The Turbo PIR Motion Sensor DVR Hidden Camera

For covert surveillance recording, the turbo PIR motion sensor DVR hidden camera is a good bet. It is a total security system with a DVR, a built-in color camera, completely portable and wire free.

It can be used in the home, office, property or land or even a nanny camera. You can either use the motion detection function or scheduled time recording. Though it comes with a 1 GB SD card, its memory can be expanded to 32 GB. Though it comes with an AC adaptor jack, if you use 4 AA batteries, you can record up to 17 hours in stand-by mode or 12 hours of continuous recording if you use lithium-ion batteries.

With the extra extended memory, you can use it for almost two years of continuous recording (though you would need to change the batteries or if you use electricity it may go off if there is a power cut). It comes with a time and date search function as well and record very high resolution images, though you can change the resolution according to your needs.

But this type of camera may not be suitable for serious covert stuff even though the camera is hidden because the item needs to be planted in an open area and may not entirely avoid detection for someone who knows a thing or two about spy equipment and they may be able to guess that it it may hide more than it may appear at first sight, but it could still do a good job for everyday operations.

LTE Connected Car redefines the 'mobile' in mobile broadband

If you think cellphones have become overbearingly complex, look away now. A partnership of tech companies and content providers, known as the ng Connect Program, has revealed a prototype "LTE Connected Car," which, as you might surmise, combines 4G mobile broadband connectivity with a bunch of cloud-sourced facilities, such as video on demand, audio libraries, and multiplayer gaming. It can also serve as a Wi-Fi hotspot, connect directly to home automation or monitoring systems, and probably cook you scrambled eggs if you ask nicely.
