The baddest Porsche ever: the 911 GT2 RS

Porsche 911 GT2 RS 1
Porsche has officially unveiled today their new 911 GT2 RS supercar to the world, the fastest and the most powerful road-going sports car ever built in their entire history. At the exterior level the GT2 RS stands out from the standard 911 GT2 through a lot of carbon fiber elements finished in matte black, wider wheels and wheel arches, a redesigned front lip spoiler and a taller rear wing.
The Porsche 911 GT2 RS is powered by an upgraded 3.6L twin turbocharged  flat-six engine with 620 HP and 700 Nm of torque and thanks to the extensive use of carbon fiber the RS is also 70 kg lighter than the standard GT2. This means the car has a better power to weight ratio and its also a lot faster than the regular model.
Porsche announced that the new 911 GT2 RS can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, it could reach 200 km/h from standstill in 9.8 seconds, 300 km/h in 28.9 seconds and it has a breahtaking top speed of 330 km/h.
Since the car is a lot more powerful than the everything else Porsche has ever built they had to upgrade other parts too. So Porsche installed carbon ceramic brakes, a new set of 19″ wheels wrapped in specifically developed tires, a new set of springs, an adaptive suspension management, anti roll bars, engine mounts and stability management.
The car’s interior also went through a lot of modifications and Porsche installed lightweight bucket seats from carbon fiber reinforced plastic, lightweight door panels with door opening straps and covered everything in black with contrasting red elements.
The baddest Porsche ever, the 911 GT2 RS will be limited to just 500 units with every unit being priced at 199,500 Euros or $245,000.
